Fr. Expedito Magembe's Message

Father Magembe“Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world” (Eph 1:3).

With a deep sense of gratitude, I return the glory and honor to God for the unique spiritual and material achievements He has bestowed on our Centre and indeed to us all this year but also since we started His work in 1991.The power and blessing of God is very great on this Holy Mountain as thousands of pilgrims have experienced and attested.

I am extremely delighted and send warm greetings and congratulations to all the people of God. Mt.Sion Prayer Centre is yet another mile stone on our journey, a new chapter and an avenue “To make Jesus Christ known and loved cost what it may”. I appeal to the people of God and the “esteemed Sons and Daughter of Mt. Sion” to use the opportunity of sharing (Christian) spiritual
values to build the Kingdom.

I am indebted to His eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala (Archbishop emeritus) for the guidance and encouragement, to His Grace Cyprian Dr, Kizito Lwanga Archbishop of Kampala for the unwavering pastoral counsel and guidance, and to His Lordship Christopher Kakooza Auxiliary
Bishop - Kampala Archdiocese, for uniting and sharing in our mission.

To all prayer groups and individuals internationally who unceasingly lift the Centre in prayers and those who offer special prayers for us on this hill, I treasure you because fi rst and foremost
Mt.SPC-Bukalango depends on prayer; your prayers. In the same spirit I applaud the Executive Committee and subcommittees for the devotion and sacrifi ces you make to serve.

I extend heartfelt thanks to all donors and benefactors who generously give to God at our Centre fi nancially and materially. I value very much the moral support of all the people of God. There are many challenges but as from the beginning, I am strengthened by your fervent prayers to focus on the future. The doors of our “Prayer Centre” remain open to all believers irrespective of religion
or social status; it takes Faith not Fame, Devotion not Denomination and Conviction not Confl ict.
May God bless you all, this Christmas Season and bring us into a New Year of renewed hope and prosperity in Christ Jesus Amen.
