ABOUT THE PRAYER CENTER
Mt. Sion Prayer Centre Bukalango is a very Holy place. Any believer from any religious affiliation can always come and pray with us. One can get the Lord's blessings without being touched by any preacher. All he has to do is to pray with faith and whole heartedly. Mt. Sion Prayer Centre has over the years since it's inception attracted a large number of believers. Thousands of people flock the centre during mass and religious festivals. For instance the "SSangaalo" at the end of every month. Believers stay over night and even brave enough to stay in the cold at night.
In a bid to reach out to a bigger congregation, Mt.Sion prayer centre and father Expendito Magembe have come out with a DVD documentary that contains prayer activities at the centre and a powerful anointing prayer by father Expendito Magembe. Mt. Sion Prayer Centre Bukalango has undertaken various projects since it’s inception in 1992 and these includes the following:
- Building of the Church.
The project to construct a 2500 seater church is still underway and requires more support. However at the moment the project has been halted until construction of the mass toilet at the prayer Centre.

Sanitary project
Amass toilet project is to cater for the sanitary needs of the large number of belivers who flock at the centre. This is quite a big project. the project was undertaken after a recommendation from the city council Health officials. This project is also part of the church project. It can be clearly seen here.
Construction of the septic tank (10,000) users still under way.
Structure of the needy.
Fr. Magembe and management at Mt. Sion Prayer Centre under took the idea of constructing a structure to house the needy and those who come for week long prayers. It houses those who can’t afford where to stay especially at night, many people flock the place from the surrounding areas in search for accommodation. A lot still has to be done to improve the structure as seen in the pictures.
